Hier in Nederland, elk jaar, vooral tijdens de zomer periode, zijn er verschillende festivals van Nederlandse afkomst en andere onderdanen die plaatsvindt in verschillende steden. De Kwaku Festival van Suriname mensen in Amsterdam, Thailand Grote Festival in Amsterdam, Viva Brazil Festival in verschillende steden van Nederland en Milkshake Festival in Amsterdam zijn een paar voorbeelden te noemen. Al deze festivals hebben een ding gemeen, ze zijn culturele evenementen waarbij de Nederlandse samenleving en de verschillende gemeenschappen daarbinnen worden gepresenteerd en gevierd. Dergelijke pak naturen viering een reeks van multi-culturele en historische verwante performances, muziek en eten op locaties in heel Nederland. De Eritrese Festival Holland is een van de jaarlijks georganiseerd cultureel festival dat plaatsvindt rond deze tijd van het jaar.
